That was a touching and revealing article. I agree that Big Pharma would lose big and have even held up cure research. However, smarter people seem to be involved; people who realize that it's more than researchers to get at this, but public health departments, university students with big minds and imagination, along with money of course. I'm glad to know your kids are better, as I took Sustiva way back and for several years. Indeed it was not the most tolerable, and grateful for the options now. Hi Suzan: I know what he means when he says, "We should push hard for it." I think that there are too many hands in the pot of gold (drugs) to even think of a cure. I believe there could have been many cures for many diseases long ago, but because there is such profit to be gained by selling drugs, who cares about cures for anything. I feel there really should be an fast and hard research group that is independent of all other research labs, and governments need to fast track research like never before. Why isn't there a cure for herpes, genital warts eta. eta. eta . All of these viruses should have been long gone .... long ago. Teejay P.S. I know I sound so neg, but don't rule me out.
