The military should get real and be reasonable about HIV. Strict blanket rules are silly in this instance. If the HIV in any individual is not causing illness or disposition, and if the individual is being responsible, too, then such an individual should be deployed abroad. The same should go for recruitment - allow recruitment if HIV+, fit and well, and a reasonable and responsible person. Trump is being a complete ass / arse about this.
