Newly diagnosed almost 4 years now and I still have so many questions. My doctor put me on Biktarvy. They say everything is going to be okay but I have my doubts. My anxiety is through the roof and constant thoughts of death.

It is a roller coaster ride, emotionally and mentally. It has been probably 12+ years since I was diagnosed, possibly longer. I don't keep count. However, I believe it made me stronger, mentally and more driven to succeed. The connecting with a partner I have almost given up on, but there a hope I may meet someone special. I have my dog for company, I cook and eat good nutritious orgnanic food, I chill have a glass of wine and enjoy my life. K S S What Ever Will Be Will Be......

What I just read gave me hope. When I was diagnosed I cry all night round, till now am still crying. Who will love me? Who will care for me? Who will associate with a positive man? Those are the questions coming to my mind. I am a pastor, if I tell you my status you will know that am gay. Till now am still single gay/ pastor looking for a partner. I lock myself indoor. I was diagnosed a year ago. and I said my life is over, am 50 year's. I need love.

I have been wanting to help those that have been recently diagnosed to let them know that life is not over and to provide them with sources needed. I've acknowledged the critical step missing between diagnosis and doctor. I know that there are help lines and the internet now but l have an idea of a program that l would love to start in my city to help those newly diagnosed, that if successful could go nation wide one day. Is there currently a program in place to help with this critical step?

This was an inspiring piece. Dealing with this depressive state of almost 2 years is getting lifted after hearing stories of great outcomes with people with HIV.

The biggest mistake is to have a blood test with your GP as you are no longer able to hide your status having HIV stops you having insurance cheaply for going on holidays and it often stops you having a mortgage death policies. it makes me feel sick when I hear another HIV Guy is brimming with wonderful stories of meeting someone and having a relationship. people say I'm extremely good looking but 14 years I have not met a single person to even have sex with that is how lonely HIV is to me. Yes I can relate to 4 out of the 6. It's been 4 years. Started on meds right away. Never been sick once except seroconversion. 1100 cd4 0 viral. Still struggling with stigma self worth and dating. And financially rebuilding.

I think this story is fabricated. The text says 30 years ago, he was taking multiple drugs to control his HIV? 30 years ago, there was only AZT and 1 or 2 experimental HIV drugs? Where did he get his magical pills ahead of medical science?
