Thank you for talking about anal cancer among HIV+ MSMs. I just learned about that at a community health forum the AIDS Committee of Toronto presented recently and it pissed me off that I hadn't been told sooner, and that more isn't being done to address the issue.
Seroconverted in 1991, but I'm still here. I am so tired of taking meds, but I am too afraid NOT to. I've had doctors tell me I had 30 days to live back then, that didn't happen. I outlived their 3 month, then 6 month projections of surviving. Then they stopped making predictions. I'm doing alright now though, t cells 1100 and vl undetectable. Just stay on the meds and have faith.

I found out in '88. I was 18. I didn't know what was going to happen. But in '93 a place came around that helped me understanding what I was going through and helped me take care of myself. But I am glad you're helping others now.
