Oh your humor is endearing! Loved the burger king costume late night wake up. Your mom will make a donation (maybe she’s at work too and it’s a hassle to pull out the credit cards etc) Don’t worry – everyone will support this. Keep up the good jokes My friends love reading your blog.
I, too, sometimes seem to fall into the state of wishing everythng didn't seem to be about AIDS. My full-blown diagnosis came in 1995 and, once I had the strength to do so, my life has become about educating and prevention, going into schools, being an HIV test counsellor, and helping raise money for my local agency to keep going. It took me a while to realize that I had to have something - SOMETHING - outside of all that to keep me sane. My sanity comes from singing in a men's chorus, but I have come to believe everyone needs (besides all the friends, love, and support one can muster in life)one other thing that has nothing to do with disease. It keeps me sane. I think it can help a lot of others do the same.
Hope
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN!!!!!!!!!!! I am tired of AIDS also. I'm tired of educating at risk and infected. I'm tired of drag repeat friends for HIV test and getting on my HIV soap box. I'm tired of begging legislators for money. I'm tired of people automatically nominating me to public speak, one on one speak. I'm tired of pills, I'm tired of sex with condoms. I'm tired of society making it seem people like people who are passing out HIV like a bad gift. I just want to thank you for starting this forum. I feel better, back to life of HIV/AIDS Be Bless Ya'll
