Like Phill, I too have good, good friends that have been taken by AIDS over the years. I found out that I was HIV Positive when the first test to detect HIV became available. It was called the Elisa Test. I was on tour with the first National Company of 'LaCage Aux Folles' in 1984 and took the test while in Baltimore Maryland, when the news of this test was released. So many men from my generation of theater/film/tv were done in by AIDS, I'm one of the lucky ones who managed to hang on and survive the hell of full blown AIDS until the antivirals were available to keep me and so many other men and women with HIV/AIDS alive in 1996. Those of us of a certain age share a loss of our generation who are not here to grow older people like Phill and myself. I hope this link will open and give hope and courage to my brothers and sisters who are beating back homophobia and AIDS. Bless you all. rtsp://v8.cache8.c.youtube.com/CjYLENy73wIaLQmE6Zb3_2ZsFBMYJCAkFEIJbXYtZ29vZ2xlSARSBXdhdGNoYNej-5iip7ybTQw=/0/0/0/video.3gp

Mr. P. Wilson, I commend you in the dedication that you have for your dear friend in his memory. Though I still stuggle with my own diagnosis of being HIV + and the stigma behind it, I too hope that one day I will have no fear in what I am and what I stand for. Yours truely in heart, LALA
