I agree with Andy, and I often wonder as a health care provider, why cant HIV+ individuals donate blood to other HIV+ members of our community.....
In thinking about the 3 month rule regarding sex, have you thought that maybe that rule is in place because if someone was only recently infected with HIV, the antibodies would not be plentiful enough for an HIV test to determine if HIV is present? Once there is an assurance, there shouldn't be a reason for discrimination. Plasma rejection for just being gay is not a good reason to refuse your donation.
Why do gay activists always get ANGRIER by policies being relaxed in their favor? I don’t get it.
