Thank you for this. While I will be mourning the death of Heath Ledger with everyone else, I find his death to be shocking from a more objective standpoint. With Brad Renfro, however, his death touched me very deeply. I first became captivated by this wonderful actor when he appeared in The Client. He held his own opposite Susan Sarandon. I would become a big fan of that little boy from then on, watching him grow into a handsome young man in The Cure, Apt Pupil, Telling Lies In America, Bully, etc., as well as feeling a deep pain every time I heard about his arrests and troubles throughout the years. Not since River Phoenix's death when I was a tween has a celebrity death touched me so deeply. So while I will be mourning the death of Heath Ledger with the rest of the world, as he was a great actor, I will be mourning Brad Renfro's death for years to come. Regardless of the media coverage of his death, regardless of the many "Who?" question I have received when mentioning his name, he will always be the talented gifted actor who gave us so much, and whom I will never forget.

Thank you for posting this. Brad Renfro was an awesome, and very underrated, actor. "The Cure" is one of my favorite films and I'm glad that it had a positive impact on you artistically.
