What a silly and native question... Of course humans won't deal with a "new virus" well. Look at human kind and see how it was in 1980 and 2019... It has continued to be selfish and thoughtless. Our species has massively and needlessly overpopulated itself, become globe trotting and abused animal kind - and in doing so has brought virus after virus upon us. We've kept creating these "crises" and then claim each time that nothing we did brought them upon us.

If we listen to our so called I've done more than Jesus President we will lose more lives like we did with HIV/AIDS in the early 80s. God help us if he wins again.

I could not agree more. Well said! Everything that we all did to get people just to notice us, and just listen a little to us ..... marches, demonstrations, quilts, Act Up, climbing on top of the FDA, anything that we could do to say.... “WE are here.” PLEASE at least help us comfort those that got “thrown into AIDS wards” to fend for ourselves. Nobody helped us then!

HIV and AIDS were baggaged by the social attitudes towards sex and those having that sex. No one is blaming people with Covid-19 for breathing.
