We must continue to teach generations to come of our history and struggle. Thank you Dame Elizabeth Taylor for your commitment to fight for countless people living and dying with HIV/AIDS. You have restored the dignity to countless lives robbed of their humanity.

I am inspired highly with the saying of Taylor that "Celebrity is not something that comes without responsibility." She embodied that maxim perfectly, always using her position in the spotlight to help those in need, particularly people living with HIV. While others may have worried what talk of AIDS would do to their reputations, or their careers, Taylor started (and never stopped leading) an international conversation about the pandemic. I being a reputed Physician from India I am the victim of talking of AIDS and having taken up the cause of AIDS and declared war against AIDS,people and professional colleagues in my city raised unhealthy comments that greatly affected my medical practice ,my bread earning profession. However I congratulate the great lady Elizabeth Taylor for her commitment and I pray the Almighty to rest her soul in peace and to serve the patients of the other world there in the heaven .

Ms.Taylor broke down all the walls of hiv/aids paranoia, fear and heartbreak. She was THE pioneer for all of us. This is why i felt so sad to hear of her death today. I kept thinking of everything she did for everyone who is hiv positive. We have more understanding, better medicine, more awareness than ever before. I just don't believe we would have all these things without her. Oddly, a friend told me yesterday that she heard a rumor that amfar wanted to find the cure in time, while ms.taylor was still living. i think ms.taylor would wannt us to keep fighting for a cure and to make life better for those who are positive. Please, in her honor, let us find a cure for hiv/aids. Let us do it for her.
