Dear Eric, Have you heard about the NGO I launched this year, www.volunteerpositive.org, which is international volunteer service for HIV+ people? Part of my reason for forming the organization was to exercise the right for HIV+ people to travel the world freely. We just completed our inaugural program in Chiang Mai Thailand, and were recognized by the US Consul General for our work as soft diplomats. Carlton Rounds - Founder of Volunteer Positive

Hi Eric, you know... since i was child i always wanted to visit NYC, i have been to L.A. twice (before diagnosed) but i really wanted to visit NYC as it is a place where many cultures converge and i love that. Prior diagnosis i had been able to visit at least 5 countries, a lot for someone from my country... but after diagnosed i haven't visit any... i was extremely affraid of being requested info about my hiv status or so.... i was sad thinking the ban in the US would end up one day but perhaps not during the time i was alive, so i might die without being able to visit NYC.... well, my dream is possible now and i am very glad about it, today is one day i feel less like a rat in a box... or perhaps i feel my box is a bit bigger now and i can visit different places now. Thanks for all the good job you do there...pity there's nothing like that here... but it will come. I'm sure. And thanks for sharing the story of the failures humanity has had regarding the fight with this virus, much of what you mentioned in your post is totally unknown here... and i am glad now i know it so i can be alert things like that don't replicate anywhere else. Thank you!.
