Your article is wonderful. I have struggled with PTSD most of my life, only getting a name for it in the past 10 years. Your description of the mountain is so real to me. I too have been in therapy for years now and while my mountain is not totally gone I now know it for what it is. My friend has a sweatshirt I love - it says- All the voices telling you that you can't are lying!
