God! What's wrong with people today!? Since when is accusing people of being HIV positive is a joke? It's not funny, I agree. It's sick and twisted and people like that should be sterilized!!!!

Sometimes I think the stigma will never get better. That the ignorance will forever abound. Are we making progress? Nurses are still throwing pens in the trash that HIV positive patients used! People can talk about their diabetes at a cocktail party but not their HIV. In rural areas it's ten times worse. Sometimes I feel discouraged, but I just keep educating everyone I can.
