Kudos for raising the U=U orthodoxy mantra. What troubles me from a public health strategy is that it’s an aspirational goal that we’re still working towards (and will eventually reach). But just as the safer sex mantra taught us that every partner was presumptively positive, we should assume that no one is undetectable (until proven otherwise). The U=U Movement leaves out the critical punchline- “we’re not all Undetectable yet”. On the dating apps everyone is either Neg on PreP or Undetectable!
