I don't know who might be interested, but, given the news today about the genetic source of HIV/AIDS, some might be interested about my grandfather. He died in 1997 at 102 years. He was an STD specialist, Harley Street, in the UK who always kept up with his specialty. He came to the conclusion that some of the people he treated in the 20s and 30s showed very similar symptoms to the AIDS victims of the 80s and 90s to the point that he concluded they may have suffered the same disease. Just saying. That was his conclusion. So there is possibly more genetic material available for research. His opinion was closed as to patients. Doctors' right.

Interesting. Of the 31 names mentioned, I recognize 25 of them, including the 5 being honored this year. I'm anxious to read your posts. By the way, I got this month's POZ in the mail today and read your article. Nice. robert
