Like you, I loved Queen early, in fact long before I knew Freddie was one of the family. It was only after he disclosed that I heard from others that he was gay or bisexual. I read an interview with someone after his death that in the early days of the band he used to throw parties that lasted for days. Having been to too many of those sorts of parties myself, I can only imagine. My husband used to say, "How do ya think I got in the shape I'm in?" with a big smile. I was amazed by the Google doodle, as it is by far the most elaborate one they've ever done. But then, Google's always been cool.
