Today, Barack Hussein Obama is officially president of the United States. Yesterday, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have been 80 years old.

Many parallels have been drawn between the two men. However, this clip from a 1964 BBC interview further draws them together. In the interview, Dr. King predicts “in less than 40 years” there would be a black U.S. president.
