It would be interested to investigate the nature of the ARV treatments the co-infected patients (HIV and COVID19) were on, prior to developing COVID19. Some of the HIV drugs such as the nucleotide/side analogues may have a wider spectrum of activity against other RNA viruses than let's say the integrase inhibitors that would not work to treat coronaviruses since they do not use that enzyme in their viral cycle. For example, Tenofovir can treat both HIV and HVB...perhaps SARS-Cov2 as well?
