I watched the documentary, as an openly gay man it gave me a new perspective. Myself having marched in gay prides from coast to coast in the eighties. I never really thought of the harsher atrocities that the trans portion of the LGBT community faced. Overall I've been very fortunate I've experienced very little discrimination or harassment as an openly gay man since I was 19. Now I feel it's more important than ever as young people are coming out in their early teens. To protect them.
