I missed this. I laughed out loud when Colbert says he thought we were "done with" aids. I think though he brought humor to it by saying things like, "there's no longer a musical, etc." But the irony is I have run across people who say this kind of thing. I'm not talking about people who are challenged in economics or education, either but people in a younger demographic but not very. The last person was 27years old, the environmental community organizer for a large university, very educated on social issues, and is a social justice advocate, He actually said to me on the topic of dating, "Well, no one is really concerned about that kind of thing in my age group. You grew up in the 80's..." My jaw literally dropped. I'm thinking perhaps a better musical?
