I just tested positive for the second time In 10 months . I really hate having to be locked in a room for two weeks. Even though I can reevaluate my life. I can Identify with the feelings you have expressed.

Over the weekend my boyfriend birthday came up and we celebrated with a couple of friends who all have been vaccinated. We decided to stay at a jotel in Atlanta one night the next morning I got up with a sore throat. I thought it was a cold so I went on with my norm I have been fully vaccinated and had my booster. But I went to work and this particular day I decided to wear my mask because I'm a nanny and I didnt want the baby to catch my cold. But I took a covid test it came back positive.
I tested positive as did an unvaccinated friend. Symptoms were exactly the same. No better for me having been vaccinated.

Asking how someone acquired COVID is not necessarily assigning blame. Hearing someone else's story of how they cau it informs us on how transmissable it is and perhaps serves as a deterrent to placing ourselves in a similar situation. Similarly, determining from whom you acquired COVID is important because that person may be asymptomatic and not aware that they are spreading it. Eradicating this virus which is killing people is more important than worrying about someone feeling stigmatized.
