The movement is thriving worldwide. Here in Tasmania, there are weekly reports about government debate on the right to marry for all citizens. As little as five years ago just the word gay was at best whispered. At tourist information centers, there are brochures promoting gay travel(?), gay friendly establishments, etc. I don't recall ever seeing such literature driving up the New York State Thruway's tourist stops, or even around Lake Tahoe or Sonoma, California. Main difference is, here, the fight and exposure is always about gay couples. They are not grouped as LGBT, just LG's. What I find interesting is that although Australia is a very conservative 'Christian' country, lesbians and gays have a huge voice, so long as they never mention BT's in their arguments. Perhaps when the LG's gain more power and rights here in Australia, they can then say, "oh, by the way, I've got these cousins B & T..."
