This is just more of the insane identity politics of the left.. "white privilege" a code word for white hatred and racism and misandry against white males. This is what has destroyed the democratic party and will continue to make it irrelevant with some very real consequences coming. Until a party sees everyone as in it together and as not separate with different levels of privilege you are doomed. As evil should be.
Jurisdictions that are overwhelmingly white in both general population and PLHIV can justify decisions that concentrate power and resources on white people, others just can't. After so many decades if you haven't developed a leadership pipeline for your main client populations it is time for you to individually step down from your leadership position, stop attending all these conferences and focus on putting accountability into the system.
What is this? The 1990s? What is the purpose of this piece? Although individuals are not entirely responsible for imbalances in power and representation, the sums of individual's choices seems to continue producing the same result everyone pays lip service to. It is time to take structural measures. And yes those structural measures must include making decisions about individuals in organizations and contexts.

I was at a local gay bar, (mostly gwm's) it was really crowded, trying to make my way through I tapped this guy on his back so that I could pass....he turns looks at me and says at the top of his lungs "what gives you the f**king right to touch me", I was a deer in headlights. I quickly apologized and tried to justify my action, but again he yelled "what gives you the f**king right to touch me". The place literally went silent. If I were white would he have felt so violated?
