Hi Lora; You are truly inspirational. I say this not only because I ran across this blog, but I have had the pleasure of working with you at two not-for-profit agencies prior to receiving the devastating news that I too, am HIV positive.I though of you often and how you seemed to continue to live your life and keep your head up. You continued in "survival mode" while still doing the work that we social workers have comitted ourselves to. You have now inspired me to look for the "signposts," and actually get out bed to begin to contemplate working and taking care of myself again. Thank you Lora.

Ms. Tucker, in life we all have kernels of wisdom to implant. Those who have made helping others their life mission, usually have an abundance of seeds of knowledge to plant within the souls of others. I viewed the footage of Ben Breedlove that you placed a link to in your blog. It was inspirational & motivational to read the words of someone who had been on the threshold of the light of death so many times. Death touches all of us living and dealing with the realities of the human immunodeficiency virus in so many different ways. I applaud and understand your not giving the virus empowerment by beginning it's spelling with a lower-case letter. I do look forward to reading future post. Do stay well and connected with your audience through the realistic living experience of this life Robert T.

Thx Lora for keeping it real and being so open the world seems so ready to write us off and we begin to buy into that notion of not having any longevity to our lives when really we should just keep on living rather than thinking of dying. Please keep on keeping it real,Peace and blessings wings of protection
