I owe so much to those brave men and women who started to fight back. I lost a lot and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would still be here today. ACT UP (I did some shouting and marching too) helped change those who lived and those who died and how our society and the afflicted approach an epidemic. The fight goes on. There is no cure yet. Gay men, especially, should know their status and help end the epidemic by stopping the spread of new infections.
