Did you know that more than half of the HIV-positive people living in the U.S. are over 50?

When HIV/AIDS emerged, people diagnosed assumed they would not live long, certainly not beyond their 50s.

Thanks to antiretroviral (ARV) therapy, people are living much longer than they used to with HIV. However, HIV-positive people in their 40s and 50s are facing diseases that often come later in life.

This short module shows what can happen in the HIV-positive body as it ages, with tips from long-term survivors on how to live a healthier, happier life.
