AIDS Walk Colorado

AIDS Walk Colorado - A Festival of Life & 5K Walk/Run- brings thousands of people together from all across the state in awareness of HIV/AIDS in Colorado. People come together as a community at Denver’s beautiful Cheesman Park to raise money for vital services for HIV/AIDS clients of Colorado Health Network (Colorado AIDS Project and Howard Dental Center) and many other outstanding AIDS service organizations throughout Colorado. Want to volunteer? Visit the Get Involved page on our main website.

The event serves as a day to remember those we have lost to the disease with panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt and a 5K Awareness walk through Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Following the walk, the Celebration of Life Festival honors those living with the disease and the progress we’ve made toward ending this disease. The festival includes numerous vendors, live entertainment, food, beverages, the CHEERS! Beer Garden, and the 10th annual AIDS Walk Colorado Volleyball Tournament, held in conjunction with the Colorado Gay Volleyball Association.
