Community and NIH: In Partnership to End the HIV Epidemic

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will commemorate World AIDS Day (WAD 2019) on Monday, December 2, 2019. The event will be hosted by the Office of AIDS Research (OAR) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Lipsett Amphitheater (Building 10) on the NIH campus.

This year, the event is titled Community and NIH: In Partnership to End the HIV Epidemic. It will be an opportunity to hear from and interact with community representatives who will share their perspectives on the HIV epidemic and research to support achieving the goals of Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE). We are excited and honored to announce that NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins and Jeanne White-Ginder (mother of Ryan White) will be joining us during this important event.
