Indiana University National HIV Conference
Join us for the Indiana University National HIV Conference, Stepping Into the 5th Decade-Evolving Our Response to HIV, on June 8-11, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Presented by Indiana University’s Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs, the conference brings together higher education, nonprofit, biomedical research, health departments, health professionals, pharmaceutical companies, key constituents, and consumers engaged in HIV/AIDS prevention, research, and care. The conference features five key tracks with several expanded areas for dialogue at the conference. Research: Basic Science, Clinical, Prevention, Population, Implementation Federal-EHE (Ending the HIV Epidemic): Diagnose, Treat, Prevent, Respond Community: Minoritized Groups (Racial, Ethnic, Sexual, Gender), Street-involved, Substance Users, Sex Workers, COVID-19; Youth; Eldersexuals; Language Justice; Stigma; College Students CBO - Health Departments: Telehealth; FQHC/CHC; MAT; Behavioral Health; Trauma-Informed Care Rural: Transportation; Food; Migrant Workers; Opioid; Healthcare Access The four-day conference will host 1,000+ participants and features four nationally recognized keynote speakers, 200 workshops, 100 poster sessions within five key tracks with several expanded areas for dialogue. Most importantly, the gathering will provide a platform for conversation and knowledge sharing about the current state of HIV in this country, how to reach at-risk populations (especially college students), prevention resources, and treatment and care.
