The Red Ribbon Auction is an online auction of gift certificates, services, jewelry, vacations, clothing, electronics, etc. and will be held during the month of October 2016. Our online auction goes live on October 1st and opens the door to thousands of people nationwide to bid and learn about all Rhode Island has to offer! Our goals are to provide as much visibility as possible for our donors and raise much needed funds to support our expanding programs. With your help we are able to provide our clients with housing, such as our assisted living facility Sunrise House, our sober living house New Transitions and over 100 apartments that we own or sublease. We also provide our clients with case management, heating assistance, mental health and psychiatric support. Furthermore, your participation supports our outreach and prevention efforts to stop the spread of HIV. We provide free HIV testing, free condom distribution and our street outreach program. In addition, there is our Speaker’s Bureau that consists of local HIV-positive men and women who speak publicly to educate people about the disease.
