Remember the Ribbon: A Tribute to World AIDS Day
To commemorate World AIDS Day, Playbill presents its fourth-annual Remember the Ribbon: A Tribute to World AIDS Day event thanks to premier sponsor Gilead Sciences and presented in part by Fellow Travelers - Streaming with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® plan, with additional support from Hotel Edison and Sony Hall.
This special evening, filled with storytellers and songs, celebrates, tributes, and remembers those affected by HIV and AIDS, whether in their own lives, or with those they know and love.
The live event will take place on Monday, November 13 at Sony Hall in New York. From December 1 through December 3, Playbill will stream Remember the Ribbon: A Tribute to World AIDS Day here on Playbill.com and Playbill’s YouTube page with a donation button to help benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. #RememberTheRibbon
ABC7’s Karl J. Schmid will host the event, which will feature appearances from Tony nominee Shoshana Bean (Hell’s Kitchen), Willam Belli (RuPaul’s Drag Race, Titaníque), Tony honoree Julie Halston, Tony nominee Victor Garber, Anne Frasier Thomas (Titaníque), Dimitri J. Moïse (Titaníque), Michael Buchanan (The Addams Family), Tim Young (Next to Normal), Robbie Torres, Coulby Jenkins, Joe Beauregard (Moulin Rouge!), and Darius Wright (New York, New York).
