Are you a licensed master’s level social worker with management experience looking for a way to make an impact in the central Texas community? Join the ASA family and make an impact on the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS.

The mission of AIDS Services of Austin (ASA) is to enhance the health and well-being of the community and people affected by HIV and AIDS. We recently established a patient-centered medical clinic providing life-affirming HIV, PrEP, primary care, and behavioral health services for at-risk persons in Central Texas. ASA services are located across three campuses in the greater Austin area. Our main campus houses the clinic, case management, insurance assistance, housing, food and nutrition services, and administrative services; the Jack Sansing Dental Clinic provides dental care to approximately 1,500 HIV-positive patients annually; and the Springdale location houses our Health Promotion programs that provide preventative and positive services for persons affected by HIV. For more than 32 years, ASA has provided a continuum of services to the greater Central Texas area.

As the Case Management Programs Manager (CMPM) you will provide supervision and support to the case management programs coordinators and E&I staff. The CMPM works with staff to promote quality services for ASA case-managed clients, which includes coordinating multiple activities relevant to case management and overseeing the training of all case managers. The CMPM ensures the set up of intake and eligibility into case management programs and coordinates with other agency departments to align policies.

With compassion, the CMPM supervises the Medical Case Management Coordinator; Case Management Coordinator; and two Eligibility and Intake Specialists and provides the tools necessary for them to deliver excellent service. As these staff work in various settings, the CMPM is responsible for liaising with multiple ASA departments and troubleshooting process concerns. As the Case Management Programs Manager, you will be the department leader for audits and quality management, and you will be responsible for writing and reporting on your programs grants. If you enjoy data analysis, research, and writing, this role will be a breeze!

Ideal Candidate Profile

You’re a mover and a shaker: You thrive on a full schedule with lots of variety, which will include: management meetings, supervisions, program development, and cross-departmental problem solving. You’re an adept problem solver: You’re able to help staff tackle and solve the frequent problems that can arise in a typical work day, even when the prevailing conditions are not right.

You’re mission driven: You’re looking for a job that makes a difference. At ASA you will be an integral part in our community to help our clients build healthier futures and reduce stigma for people affected by HIV/AIDS.
