The Midway Residential Program, an older adult - residential component of Navos Mental Health Solutions, is looking for a full time case manager.  

 

Basic Job Description: Full Time Case Manager to provide highly intensive, on site case management services to older, mentally ill clients living in a residential setting in the Midway / Kent area. A team of 4 case managers provides services to 22 clients. The work week is 5 - eight hour days; one weekend day is necessary.

 

Qualifications: This position requires a BA in human services with a minimum of 2 years experience; demonstrated knowledge of older adults, mental illness, managed care system, and community resources; and strong organizational and communication skills. Also must have a valid Washing State driver’s license and the ability to be either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or an Agency Affiliated Counselor.

 

Program:  The Midway Residential Program is a treatment center for older adults (60 and above) with severe and persistent mental illness, who are unable to live by themselves in the community, and who require daily mental health assistance and intervention, but who do not meet the requirements to live in a nursing home. The program has 22 residents who live in 7 individual houses in a cul-de-sac in Kent.  Staff provide 7 day a week / 10 hour a day intensive, on site, case management services. As well, there is a program psychiatrist on site ½ day a week.

In doing so, we balance strength, desire, hope, independence, and choices with safety, support, and acceptance. Our team of three case managers and lead clinician is cooperative and interdependent,  works closely with our psychiatrist and primary care physicians, takes the services to our clients, strives to work with the whole client system, and sees our clients, their supports, and ourselves as partners working to help our clients grow and lead more rewarding lives.

 Compensation: Salary is hourly; start range is $18.59 - $20.02 (DOE). That is approximately $38,700 to $41,600 per year. Excellent benefits
