ASA’s Jack Sansing Dental Clinic (JSDC) is looking for a Data Entry Specialist to manually enter Dental Clinic service data and eligibility documentation into an internal database to ensure compliance with public and private grant funding requirements.

Efficient and Professional -  You enjoy working in front of a computer screen all day.  You enter data accurately and efficiently.  You are familiar with general office equipment to include scanners and copiers.

Collaborative Approach - You love teamwork.  The Dental Clinic is a fast paced environment serving 40-50 patients per day.  The Dental Team is a high functioning team whose members work closely together to provide dental services in an efficient and patient centered manner.

A successful Data Entry Specialist must be able and willing to:

  • Using a checklist, perform quality assurance of eligibility documents prior to entering them into an internal database.
  • Use a computer and scanner to perform manual data entry and to upload documents into a database.
  • Maintain open communication with the Dental Practice Manager and Eligibility and Intake Specialists to acquire any missing documents and to ensure that data is entered accurately and timely.
  • Consistently achieve position deliverables.
  • Function within the Agency’s policies and procedures as outlined in our Personnel Handbook.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required

Preferred:

  • One year of experience with data entry
  • One year of experience verifying and or completing eligibility documentation for publicly funded programming or public assistance
  • Experience using Provide Enterprise software
  • Experience using ARIES software
  • Experience working with data and eligibility documentation related to Ryan White funding
  • Experience working in a high volume environment

SCHEDULE

40 hours per week; 8:45am-5:45p (1 hour for lunch); Monday-Friday
