HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

The Research Associate III will work with Services staff in the timely accomplishment of varying research/evaluation activities for currently funded evaluation efforts. Current projects for which responsibility may be assigned focus on HIV and other aligned health areas (i.e., sexual and reproductive health, reproductive health justice approaches, harm reduction and Hepatitis C).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Education, Program Evaluation, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related area; educational background in research and evaluation preferred.
  • At least 6+ years post-Master’s experience, including serving as an evaluator on a research project for at least 1 year.
  • Experience in the preparation and submission of IRB protocols/applications.
  • Strong quantitative and or/mixed methods data collection experience (implementation and analysis).
  • Experience in communicating data findings to a variety of stakeholders (funders, implementation partners).
  • Experience in research and evaluation design and instrument development.
  • Experience with analysis of quantitative data required.
  • Experience evaluating digital health interventions or services desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills as evidenced by independent direction of a research project.
  • Extensive content/methodology expertise and ability to interface with partner organizations.
  • Ability to adapt to timeline adjustments and reorganize work accordingly.
  • Responsible and able to follow through on all tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Willingness to ask questions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytic, verbal, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff successfully.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Suite (Excel desired) and SPSS or similar analysis program.

Location: This position requires the candidate to currently live and have had work experience in the U.S. Southern region.

Employment Status: Temporary project based, with possibility of a regular, full time status if project funding is available. This position is eligible for PTO and Benefits.

Starting Pay Range: $71,800-$79,825.00 annually.
