Position Summary:
Job Title: HIV Prevention Coordinator
Reports to: HIV/ STI Sexual Health Program Manager
Position Type: Full Time, Exempt
Salary: $43,000; Benefits include: Full Health, Vision and Dental insurance premium, two weeks of PTO, 19 paid Holidays, and a 3% 401K retirement contribution.

Position Description:
The purpose of this position is to recruit Latino/a/e/x community members to HIV and STI testing and provide patient navigation and linkage to care services. HIV Prevention Coordinator will work in collaboration and partnership with Cascade AIDS Project’s
(CAP) CDC Project Coordinator and testing staff to provide targeted HIV prevention education, outreach, and testing. This includes providing HIV/ STI testing, coordinating and implementing testing events, participation in the development and implementation of a targeted HIV awareness and prevention marketing campaign, and coordination of a Latino/a/e/x Community on HIV Coalition. The HIV Prevention Coordinator will also assist Familias’ statewide community action plan.

This position is stationed at Familias en Acción in Portland, Oregon with time also spent at CAP and their locations. Travel throughout the Portland Metro region, as well as evening and weekend work may be required. CAP and Familias will provide training for operating HIV/STI testing technologies and screening protocols, including phlebotomy.
