Leading national HIV/AIDS and hepatitis public policy, advocacy, research, and education non-profit organization is seeking a Program Coordinator for its Tampa, Florida office. 
              
Successful applicant will have experience in:
  • Project/program management & planning.
  • Meeting facilitation and convening groups.
  • Grassroots, community mobilization, coalition development & management.
  • Database management.
  • Technology and communications.
  • General organizational management and technical support.
Required traits -Ability to:
  • Work closely with state, regional, national partner organizations and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with organization team members to ensure implementation & coordination of programs and activities.
  • Understand concepts of epidemiology, data trends, and data management.
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external collaborators and stakeholders.
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and independently.
  • Maintain excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Maintain excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Multitask and remain flexible in a fast paced environment.
  • Work within a diverse work environment.
Professional Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, social work, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-education related professional experience or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
Preferred traits:
  • Interest in public health issues and helping people with HIV, viral hepatitis, and other chronic health conditions.
  • Understanding of content/communications management systems; websites, email newsletter platforms (e.g. Constant Contact) and social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
