The National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR) is seeking a Program Coordinator to support and help expand NVHR’s program. The goal of NVHR’s program is to provide persons at risk for hepatitis C with the necessary information and education to prevent infection, and to promote testing so that persons living with hepatitis C are aware of their status, linked into appropriate health care, and ultimately cured of the disease. NVHR’s program identifies and shares best practices among community groups, patients, health care providers, public health practitioners, and industry partners in order to leverage experience and disseminate the best strategies for preventing hepatitis C infections and identifying, treating, and curing individuals living with the virus. NVHR’s program also awards mini-grants to community groups working on hepatitis C awareness, screening, and linkage to care projects.

The Program Coordinator will report to and support the Program Director with defining, planning, and executing NVHR’s program activities. The Program Coordinator will support NVHR activities focused on implementation of hepatitis C screening and linkage to care projects; tracking and reporting of technical assistance activities; conducting outreach to health departments, health care providers, and community partner programs for information collection and dissemination; coordinating webinars; and supporting, planning, and executing meetings and technical assistance activities.
