It's been 17 years since I was diagnosed HIV, progressed to AIDS, then back to HIV, and now at undetectable. I look great "on paper", but little things started catching up on me a few years back.

I have been accessing my medical care at a large clinic tailored to hiv/aids since Ii moved to CA from NYC tri- state area . Had moved 3,000 across the USA to be part of a clinical trial to cure myselfbof hepatitis C with one pill a day drug. My great ID doctor retired when Covid hit. Am finding it impossible to communicate with any of my healthcare team. Cannot even get a live person on phone to ask a question. The clinic used to NOT BE THIS WAY. You could always call and speak to a reception

I am a woman who has been + since 1987. I live in a rural area and our ASO Clinic has decided to open up to the common public. I live in a state where they set the COL so low most people, even on disability don't qualify if they had a good job. However, this was a survey about aging. Women have a lot more than "cancer" issues when it comes to aging. But, I really don't think your target audience is me anyway.

78 year old man living in San Diego, CA. HIV+ since 1980 and AIDS since 1990. I am one of the lucky ones that got to live. In addition to some of the usual conditions that come with aging - high blood pressure, BPH, high cholesterol, hearing loss, and quirky vision - I also live with PTSD and HAND. More important than healthcare are two factors that keep me in good working order, volunteering and socialization.

After many years of Living With HIV, I am struggling with basic things like housing and food. Every day is an adventure.

The survey for some typical woke ignorance. White is not an ethnicity but a race. Question about discrimination does not have a "No" as a choice. You can't imagine the world without some kind of discrimination?! Same for Government assistance. Some of us manage without it but there is no choice for that.
