Michael
Sure took a long time coming to this conclusion. I was diagnosed in 1985 and could not wait to get on any med, which ended up being AZT. Too many medical people kept saying wait to start medication, and later, recommending patients taking drug holidays. I always thought it was awful advice to not treat what was then a deadly illness as it made no sense to me. I believe that a major part of my being here today is because I have been TOTALLY compliant with taking my drugs for the last 39 years.
