A great tribute to Barry! I was a fellow-cyclist on Barry's first cross-country (actually cross-continental - we rode across Ontario Canada) ride in 2012. I remember several conversations I had with Barry that gave me a better understanding of hemophilia and the challenges that hemophiliacs face. Despite the pain from his neuropathy, Barry never complained. Barry was a very strong cyclist and a genuine inspiration. He died much too young and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Thank you Vaughn for this tribute to our blood brother. Barry also rode the MS150 for many years and I volunteered for his team for that marathon. He used his passion for riding to raise money and awareness for our community and others. He was a dear friend of mine for many years and will be missed. ~ Tammy

I did follow Barry's life journey when I read about him in or quarterly journal. Mainly for 2 reason. We are the same age with same conditions. And I ride 4 to 5 times a week in western PA. Sad
