I wondered about all of this -- and then had a major heart attack after being HIV+ for over 25 years and on the cocktail for 5. Sometimes I wonder if I have neglected my cardiovascular health by rationalizing that my life is tough -- I may as well eat the whipped cream, ice cream, and greasey boneless ribs that I consume as comfort food?

im sooooo glad to have read this article. there has been so much news about heart attacks in HIV+ peole over the past few weeks. its good to see that the numberrs arent really bad.
