How weird, I'd been thinking the same thing as Joseph BEFORE I found this article. It seems like there is a definite void in the activist continuum for people who actually have the disease and want something more than the standard party line of "drugs and disability". This isn't somehing that should be filled with "prevention". With TAG increasingly focused on Prep and third world issues-many of us who are "medically stable" but wanting more find ourselves politically homeless.

What does TAG really do? What is there LEFT to do? We don't die, disability Insurance companies don't recognize us as being sick, I am healthy if tired. Where is your focus in relation to the gay guys who have had HIV for 5-10 years, who became poz after the miracle drugs came on the scene, and who have insurance. What's in it for us? Yeah yeah yeah it's about PREVENTION. Where's the drama in that.?
