Olympic organizers braved host-state criticism to provide 12,000 condoms to athlete participants. A group of 14 local AIDS organizations got together to make sure visitors also got the latex perks, hitting the slopes and the Salt Lake scene to pass out more than 250,000 care packs with condoms, hand-warmer and lip balm. The POZ judges give it a perfect score -- but the Mormon backlash didn’t merit a bronze at the scandal-scarred event.
