I've heard about this before, I tested positive in 2005 & still have not taken meds & my T-cells did not drop much either. i would be very interested in participating in studies if im eligible
Hey! It's good to know there are others like me in this world. I was diagnosed in Sept 2002 with HIV, but have yet to go on meds, knock on wood! My partner was poz before I met him, but he never told me. We had unprotected sex for years. He passed away in 2004 from Cancer/AIDS. Tell me, where do I sign up?
Thank You, Thank You. No one knows about my in my fam, I just got a call that an extended family member just passed of aids, that makes me even less likely to tell that I am HIV+. I used to pray to be a controller, thinking that it would make the "blow" easier for my family to handle. I am on Atripla, 26, Black and Male and single & I feel so alone 'cause I'm not a hood boy or a queen or any of the things that you normally associate with being poz. You speak for me, SHOUT LOUD MAMA!!! IloveU

Hi Loreen - My partner and I have just learned about Hivcontrollers.org. Emily has been very helpful and we are just getting started. My partner Carl of 20 years is going on 30 years and I was diagnosed in 87 and given 18 months to live back then. We live about an hour south of Asheville,NC in the woods and as of Friday I got the local hospital lab on board to help us with blood draws etc. Let us know if we can be of any help.Best wishes. Bruce and Carl
