Housing Works is also confident that the money will be available to implement this plan so long as New York State commits to place a global spending cap on HIV in Medicaid, which would allow any savings from our efforts to be reinvested in the plan, and also fully harnesses DSRIP projects toward this end. With these two investments and a short term allocation of dollars for rental assistance and other start up efforts to prime the pump, we will be well on our way.
