A new strategy will give the fight against HIV/AIDS a new meaning and a new dimension, whether its world leaders or primary stakeholder, only persons who believe it must STOP, will make the difference.lets speak out and stand firm to our comitments.

I have to agree with Phil... It seems on all fronts the US is determined to help other countries facing AIDS, hunger, you name it before we take care of our own unfortunate masses. It makes no sense to me at all

The same thing is happening on a lesser scale in California due to funding cuts, fatigue and apathy.

While I normally support all our efforts in Africa and other countries, financial realities here in America are forcing Americans onto waiting lists. When I was a member of ACT-UP we had a name for waiting lists. We called them "death lists." I think we need to make sure everyone in the U.S. has access to medication before we can continue to save the rest of the world. It may sound selfish, but that's how I feel.
