As a former Pennsylvanian, who now calls Florida home, I was initially disturbed reading this headline, however, as long as it is inclusive of other diseases and does not solely target those infected with HIV I think it is a fair measure for the books. I would think that it might be another reason or deterrent for individuals not to get tested.

So, assumably we're talking about people having unprotected sex or sharing needles with police officers?! All of these criminalization cases and laws are so clearly based on ignorance about how HIV is transmitted, and they generally serve only to increase fear, misinformation and stigma. BOO!
