Thank you for this very important article regarding the cost benefit of PrEP. Previously, naysayers claimed funding PrEP was more expensive than having people live and die with HIV. Thanks again for this excellent news.

Sad when money is the reason to save lives. The only way to end AIDS is to get the infection rate below the death rate. If you prevent one infection, u also prevent all the other people that person could have infected. HIV is not the last new infection that will happen to humans. All that we learn, will be used for other people, other infection, and it is paying off in a longer life for everyone. What kill people with HIV also kills old people.

It would have been useful to look at this by adding quality life and the burden a diagnosis brings. The weight of this cost is much higher living with HIV
