If the Tenofovir (TDF) in Truvada is so safe why then did Gilead come up with TAF? Safe seems to be either a relative term or something potentially scary.

Better to change your sexual practices, i.e., use a condom than to take a proven toxic drug. Sure we've been told ad nauseum it is safe but history (and my own awful experience) will prove it is nasty.
